Yijing

Yijing sailed to India via Śrīvijaya and studied at Nālandā before returning to China in 695. His Record of Buddhist Practices Sent Home from the Southern Sea describes monastic life in India and Southeast Asia. His translations include substantial portions of the Mūlasarvāstivāda Vinaya.
