Dahui Zonggao
Dahui Zonggao was a Song Linji Chan teacher and a disciple of Yuanwu Keqin. He taught at Jingshan and promoted sustained inquiry into the crucial phrase of a Chan case. His recorded sayings preserve sermons, instructions, and exchanges on practice.
