Huizhao
Huizhao continued Kuiji's interpretation of Yogācāra in the Chinese Faxiang tradition. His Lamp of Definitive Meaning defends that interpretation against competing readings of the Treatise Establishing Consciousness Only. Zhizhou carried on his commentarial work in the next generation. His death is commonly dated to 714, while an inscription-based reassessment cited by DILA places it between 726 and 741.
