Dignāga (Chenna)

Dignāga was an Indian Buddhist thinker associated with Yogācāra and the development of Buddhist logic. His writings examine perception, inference and the objects of cognition. Chinese translations of his works, including the Investigation of the Object of Cognition, contributed to the study of consciousness and reasoning in East Asian Buddhism.
