Chewu Jixing
Chewu Jixing, also known as Mengdong, was a Qing Buddhist teacher trained in Chan and scriptural study. He later taught at Mount Hongluo and emphasized Buddha recollection and Pure Land practice. Later Pure Land tradition honors him as its twelfth patriarch. His disciples preserved his teachings in the Recorded Sayings of Chan Master Chewu.
